Nová Ves lookout tower

RECREATIONAL AREA NOVÁ VES

The Nová Ves recreational area is located at an altitude of 845 m in the locality called Na Vyhlídce, in the local part of the village of Dolní Moravice - Nová Ves. The main dominant feature of the area is a 31.3 m high observation tower, which offers three beautiful views of the Hrubý Jeseník ridge, Uhlířský vrch, Velký and Malý Roudný, as well as views of the towns of Bruntál, Břidličná, Šternberk and the village of Rýžoviště including their surroundings. With excellent visibility, you can observe the Beskydy Mountains or the High Tatras from the observation tower. The six-storey lookout tower was built in 2014. It is made of reinforced concrete in the core, but its shell is made of wood.
